APITCO Ltd. is a premier Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), established in 1976, promoted by leading all-India financial institutions including the Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI), Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI), ICICI, and state-level corporations namely Andhra Pradesh State Finance Corporation (APSFC) & Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (APIDC). We undertake commercial activities and deliver essential services to the public while ensuring socio-economic development. APITCO aims to serve national interests, such as employment generation, regional development, and infrastructure growth.

APITCO is run by Boards of Directors comprising Professionals, Technocrats and government nominees. It operates as independent corporation but is accountable to the Parliament & State Assembly. As on date a minimum of 51% shareholding is held by the central govt undertakings along with state government corporations. It engages in large-scale operations in sectors like power, oil, heavy industries, renewables, IT, infrastructure and consulting. Like many others PSUs, APITCO offers direct support to micro and small enterprises, skill development and capacity-building initiatives. As a part of Transparency and Accountability, APITCO is Subject to CAG audit and vigilance oversight to ensure ethical functioning.

As a PSU, APITCO operates and functions as a multi-disciplinary consultancy organization. It plays a vital role in industrial development, entrepreneurship promotion, and project advisory services across sectors.
